YAJAIRA SESMAS
Yajaira is a Chicana artist, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and currently resides in South L.A.
Yajaira's work centers around the concepts of Art, Love, and Revolution (Arte, Amor, y Revolucion) and the intrinsic nature between each one.
Much of her inspiration is drawn by LA based artists like Judith Baca, Margaret Garcia and the
greats including Kahlo and Rene Magritte. Most importantly her inspiration takes a surrealist
approach to depict her own personal life experiences.
Primarily a painter, she also utilizes mixed media in many of her works.
